The Performing Arts

Self-expression is seen as important in all departments of the school. Drama has a high profile and there are numerous opportunities for all pupils to be involved in the performing arts in both Preparatory and Senior Schools. Plays, shows and concerts are an integral part of school life.

There is a strong tradition of singing and each term there are opportunities for performance in all departments. Peripatetic music teachers offer specialist music tuition and both Preparatory and Senior Schools boast fine orchestras, choirs and instrumental groups.

Opportunities to tour overseas and to perform in public venues with professional musicians are eagerly embraced.
