IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING ENTRY IN SEPTEMBER 2013 PLEASE CALL THE SCHOOL NOW ON 01905 357786.
Admission to the Sixth Form is based upon each girl’s GCSE examination results together with an interview and report from their previous school.
Normally, a minimum of five subjects at A* to C at GCSE (including Maths and English) are required for girls to gain admission to the Sixth Form. It is also advisable to have a B or above at GCSE in their chosen AS subjects.
However, at St. Mary's, we recognise that GCSE exams don’t always go to plan! Therefore individual needs and circumstances are always taken into consideration and we offer an alternative bespoke curriculum which enables students to mix AS studies with GCSE resits for those who don't meet the criteria for the traditional route.
Every year we offer scholarships and bursaries to girls entering the Sixth Form. Further details may be found on the Scholarships and Bursaries section of this website. Candidates who wish to apply for a scholarship or bursary for the Sixth Form are required to sit the entrance examination which takes place on Friday 24th January 2014.
We will be holding an Open Evening for prospective students on 17th October. To find out more about the day and to register your interest please call 01905 357786 or click here to order a prospectus.
