Key Stage 2 (7 to 11 years)

Girls in Key Stage 2 are confident, hardworking pupils who have both high self-esteem and a passion for learning. We aim to provide a stimulating but relaxed environment where the girls are motivated to enjoy their work.  We believe they should be free to develop as individuals and to this end we endeavour to help them discover their own talents and thus fulfill their potential.  Confidence, reliability and self-discipline are all of prime importance.  We encourage a relaxed Christian family atmosphere of caring and sharing in order to assist each girl’s spiritual and emotional growth.   To this end, experienced, well qualified, and committed staff teach small class sizes in an environment that is simultaneously caring and stimulating. We are flexible enough to offer additional support where required or to recognise and challenge the gifted and talented. Our pastoral care was judged to be Excellent by the recent Independent Schools Inspectorate.   As our girls develop and seek a richness of opportunity, we meet their growing needs with specialist teaching in subjects such as PE, Music and French. There is an annual residential programme, as well as a wide range of clubs, activities, visits and trips offering girls with a growing sense of confidence, curiosity and self-esteem, the chance to prepare for their senior years.
